Full Worm Moon

Here is my Dreamwheel to honor the Full Worm Moon…  to celebrate the magic of the in-between…

Tending to my dreams is a lot like tending to a garden…  Y’see, I’ve planted the seeds, and now I’m waiting for them to grow.

It’s kind of like watching a pot that never boils, so this in between place, for me, is about letting go.  I tend to get impatient, sensitive, bothered, and ornery when I take a peek at what I’ve sowed and all I see is dirt.  I want to add things or do things to hurry up the process.  But the truth is, it takes time.  And it takes not only the warmth of sunshiney days when my arms are outstretched in hope, but also the cool, rainy days, when tears of fortitude pour from the sky in tiny droplets.   I think this dreamwheel is all about being still and peaceful within that balance, and allowing earth, and all of its elements, to support me.

“A garden is a grand teacher. It teaches patience and careful watchfulness; it teaches industry and thrift; above all it teaches entire trust.”

~Gertrude Jekyll

I love the vibrancy of your dreamwheel – reminds me of the colours of my garden just waiting to explode! I’ve not done any planting yet, the days are too cold here in the UK!

  9. Whenever I used to feel blue I would catch sight of my various dragonfly ornaments and the like around the place and I felt it was a sign to dig deeper for my dreams to come true…your dreamwheel inspires this memory again. It’s fascinating. I wonder where the lady in the boat is heading to?…we shall see in next month’s dreaming :)
